My fiancé and I ate here while I was visiting him and it was amazing. They have a deal soup/app/entree per person $25. Perfect portions, good seafood, bomb soup, good wine selection, also large desert menu. It was a nice treat and very romantic!

Acadia is a lovely restaurant. We are outside and enjoyed ourselves. The service was absolutely wonderful. Food was also really good. Enjoyed the different take on certain dishes compared to other spots. Loved the spinach n artichoke dip and the bread. Ty also have a nice wine selection, be careful though its somewhat pricey. Shrimp and grits were delicious, but I must admit I was a glass or two of cab in at that point ;-)

Had the seared sesame crusted tuna with ginger slaw for starters. Loved it! I could have eaten 4 orders of the tuna. For the entree I enjoyed the half portion of the beef tenderloin cooked med-rare+ with a rosemary demi-glaze served with garlic mashed taters and veggies. So tender and juicy, the demi glaze you could drink with a straw it was so good. My dining mates had the scallops and the quail, both were very pleased. For dessert our table split the chocolate creme brûlée, cheesecake with blueberry, and the mango sherbet. The creme brûlée was amazing and decadent. Everything was on point, from the friendly staff, to the lovely ambience, and of course the food was absolutely masterfully prepared and put together. Was constantly impressed with the quality and will be back for sure.

Fantastic. I ate here on a Monday night with some colleagues while we were in from Houston. Great atmosphere - didn't mind that it was slightly chilly because the patio outside was wonderful with a unique setting for Little Rock. The food was incredible, a really good value because the have a three course fixed price menu on weekdays and it wasn't just one or two options, you can pick anything from the menu. Definitely one of the top spots in Little Rock and well worth a visit.

Currently my favorite restaurant in Little Rock. I've never had a so-so experience at Acadia. Always top-notch. Everything from salads, seafood, chicken and beef is prepared very well with attentive service. Acadia has a nice wine list and occasionally has a sommelier on staff to make recommendations and pairings. Portion sizes are perfect. Don't go expecting a huge gut bomb. The emphasis is on quality not quantity. Get it back on your rotation for date night or a nice mid-priced lunch.

Ate here one evening while driving from Austin, TX to Ashburn, VA. I tried fried green tomatoes for the first time and they were quite yummy. The service was competent, outdoor seating was enjoyable and the wine like a liquid steak, making for a winning combination in my book. I would certainly come back next time I drive through (who knows when that will be).

Pretty disappointing after having read other reviews on this site and hearing recommendations from friends. Three of us went on a saturday night and it just didn't impress. We each ordered a glass of wine and the waiter seemed pretty unknowledgeable when we asked questions about it. I got a scallop dish that was very average. The sauce on the scallops was very rich - but that doesn't necessarily mean good. The salmon was also ordered which was cooked well, but the barbeque style sauce that came on it did not compliment the fish well at all. The macaroni and cheese entree was also ordered, and although I didn't try it, I was told it was very good. Not bad, but definitely not worth the price. When there are many expensive fine dining restaurants, it really isn't worth the effort or the price.

Best waitress ever! Very attentive staff. It was our anniversary and my husband loves walleye. Searched menus of lots of restaurants before I finally found it at Acadia. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked as were the side dishes. I had shrimp and although I am not a fan of shell left on the tails in a cooked dish, I couldnt deduct a star because it was so perfect in every other way. I had a chocolate martini which was on the small size but it too was delicious. We were too full for deserts.

I'm a little conflicted because I've only been here on the prix fixe nights of Monday and Tuesday, and the food may not be as good on those nights, but how can one argue with $24.50 for three courses? I've had that pleasure several times, and it's never been bad.

Just had lunch here. I sat on the beautiful patio overlooking Kavanaugh. The weather is perfect right now for outdoor dining. I had the spinach salad with a creamy thyme dressing with feta cheese, kalamata olives, diced tomatoes and warm pita bread wedges. It was perfect. My friend had the blackened bbq shrimp, which were huge, and he loved them. I tried some of the cheese grits that came with it and it was fabulous. I'll need to come back and check it out for dinner. It looks like a great place for a romantic dinner on the deck.

While I really loved the neighborhood and overall ambiance of the outdoor deck, I wasn't as impressed with the food as I was expecting to be. The bread was surprisingly fresh and flavorful, as was the Sesame Tuna salad, but the mahi-mahi entree was very lack luster. It wasn't anything I couldn't make at home and the risotto was a bit mushy. I would definitely go back but maybe just stick to wine, appetizers, and dessert!

Acadia is definitely a signature spot in the area. The patio is the best in town for an evening dinner. The mahi wish excellent!!!

Really great restaurant with a wonderful menu. I ate here with my husband and in-laws and everyone was pleased with their meals. We had the three course meal option and it was amazing. I am looking forward to going back soon.

Two friends and I had a lovely three course dinner here for less than $30 a piece. Some reviewers have complained about the service, but we were the only patrons, so we had great attention. Two of us had the special--a New York strip with mushrooms, squash? and risotto. Delish! We enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and will return.

It's where Kevin and I met for dinner the first time. We loved it then, we love it now.

I love to dine here - the menu offers some funky fare and they always have specials: monday and tuesday prix fixe, wednesday wine etc. The patio is however the best part about the restaurant especially when the weather is as idyllic as Arkansas in the spring.

A highlight in Little Rock. Early in the week they have a very reasonable menu with a set fee that alows you to experience multiple courses while not "breaking the bank."

Still one of my favorites! Always reminds me of small out-of-the-way somewhat upscale yet unpretentious spots in New York or Los Angeles, known primarily by locals. Excellent menu and wine selection, knowledgeable staff. Multi-level dining on the deck(s) weather permitting. Always memorable.

Oooh! Snazzy! Every inch of this place is beautiful, and every bit as worth finding as it is hard to find an entrance (pro-tip, the outdoor patio has an entry gate on the uphill side) I wanted to take my wife out to a fancy dinner somewhere with outdoor seating, because it was a perfect evening out in Little Rock! I tried looking up reviews, but few of them did this place justice - it is awesome :) It is also quite fancy. The interior is a beautiful, classic dining area of dark burgundy woodwork and candle-lit tables. Unlike most places I would call fancy however, this one doesn't leave you broke and still hungry. Our meal wasn't cheap, but we each had a drink, split two entrees, a large side, and a dessert and were quite stuffed, for around $80 with tip. Their menu changes, so our main entree isn't on there anymore - but that smoked gouda Mac'n'cheese is! And dang it's good! For dessert, I couldn't resist the seasonal cobbler (peach and raspberry at the time) topped with ice cream. Yum! They do course-meal specials, which are awesome! But we went in on a Monday evening, but we couldn't wait for that patio. And what a patio! It's beautiful, tiered, old-wood, and shaded by a magnificent old tree that makes it looks tiny from the outside, but it's quite spacious inside. Speaking of the inside, there's a main dining area that's really nice, and an upstairs patio. The upstairs is largely for private events, but I believe when it's open you can sit up there - and being where Acadia is, the view from that patio is lovely. All in all, we had a great night. This is a stellar date spot, a decent anniversary spot, and a great spot to bring a wine snob for a drink.

This food comes from the gods of deliciousness, and the patio dining experience is probably the best patio in LR (seriously, can you tell me a better patio dining experience?). My favorite place in the Hillcrest area to eat. Ya'll better recognize.

They have a three course meal deal that makes sense if you want to try a little of everything. I got the duck special and it was delicious. I've been trying to eat more "good" fatty meats so this meal fit right in. The Cajun soup was spicy but not over baring. The spinach salad was refreshing. But the duck was outstanding.

The flavors here were soo good! I had the jerk tenderloin and was so satisfied with the flavors of the meat as well as the sides together. Three course meal from a 5 star restaurant at $26 is a bargain. Definitely recommend!

Just came back to reiterate my earlier review.. best restaurant in Little Rock! I will gladly put Acadia right up there with the best restaurants in NY.. the food is really great and the service is friendly.. I'm always surprised that the place is not packed! During my time in Little Rock, since my first visit to Acadia, it has become our regular Wednesday night spot. I'm really a fan!

This was a terrible experience! Website advertised a special that they did not honor! Waiter was rude and was snobby, good food bad waiter. Will never visit again!

I was in LR for business and I found this gem after reading some of the Yelp reviews. This place really gets it. The knowledgeable and friendly wait staff greets you by first name, the relaxing atmosphere, outdoor seating next to an old tree, reasonably priced menu, and I was thinking the food can't be that great. I was wrong. The oven roasted duck breast over grits blows me away. I haven't had duck done right like this in a very long time (maybe a few weeks back in NYC, which I remembered vaguely), the flavor was rich and complex, but has a great balance. The grits caught me by surprise. I hate grits, but I really like the grits here. The grits are cooked with white truffle oil, giving it a delicacy taste for an ordinary food (work of genius). Acadia, thanks keeping doing this right. I don't hand out 5 stars very often, but you've earned it.

FABulous setting. Romantic. We ate outside. Wonderful experience. We shared the roast duck and a ceasar salad. They divided it all very pleasantly. An unexpected pleasure as we were just passing thru at the end a huge RV roadtrip. The other restaurant we originally picked (also Yelped) had a transformer blow out on their street and the power went out. The waitress at Maddie's Place recommended this and we will forever be grateful.

Saw the good reviews - visited the website and it was nicely done with an excellent looking menu. So I decided to take a group of six to celebrate my wife's birthday. I called a couple days ahead, and although they said they didn't take reservations, they went ahead and took my name and arrival info. They did have a table waiting for us on arrival, however the dining room was entirely empty at 6PM on a Friday night (it was half full when we left around 7:15.) I was a little taken aback by the building - the entrance we went in was old and musty and the elevator looked to be on the verge of a breakdown. The dining room was nice, however, and the service was very attentive. The food, as it should be, was the star of the show. Our appetizer: Gorganzola Cheesecake with Peach Jalapeno Chutney. VERY good - I'll be getting that again. I had the Walleye with cheese grits and I was impressed. The rest of my party all enjoyed their food as well. The only subpar food was the pre-dinner bread - it had a bitter/chemical taste to it. But that was not worth bringing this experience below five stars. This stacks up very well with some of my favorite Manhattan and Vegas restaurants.

I don't hesitate when I say, Acadia is our favorite restaurant. Very creative menu which changes regularly. Beautiful dinning area inside and if the weather is right, dine on the best deck in Little Rock. Fantastic variety on the wine menu. We always have such a great evening at Acadia!

I dined at Acadia with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We opted for the Fixed Price Menu available on Monday and Tuesday nights and were very pleased with the results. I started with the Fried Green Tomatoes accompanied by fresh mozzarella and a basil chiffonade with pancetta. The starter was delicious and paired aromatic basil with the tender crunch of Fried Green Tomatoes. For my main course I enjoyed the Pan-Fried Corn-crusted Walleye with Orzo Pasta. The richness of the orzo and the gentle flakiness of the walleye was perfectly complimented by the herbed butter melted over top of the fish. For dessert I selected a peach berry cobbler ala mode. The fruit cobbler had a delightful smokiness I haven't previously experienced in fruit desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the service. The atmosphere was dark and relaxing. I will definitely be returning!

A little gem! Fine cuisine, really cute patio, nice wines. After dinner make sure you take a stroll through the neighborhood (Hillcrest). It's seriously beautiful.

Wonderful for outdoor dining. I went on a Monday night so it was nice and quiet, not crowded. Also, they do a very reasonable prix fixe early in the week with selections from the full menu. (I loved this because I'm a vegetarian and don't get to benefit from prix fixe very often because the entrees are ALWAYS meat.)

I've been here twice and had a much better experience the second time around. Mondays and Tuesdays are their special promotional days. It's $23.50 (+ tax and tip) for a three course meal consisting of soup, salad, entree, and choice of dessert if you skip out on either appetizer. To make it easy, I just order the most expensive regular priced thing in the menu, maximizing the the amount I'll save, since I'll be paying a fixed amount anyway. Blame it on the cheapskate inside of me...my mother taught me well. Food is decent, but being a higher end restaurant and all, portions are kinda lonely. I wonder why restaurants like this don't get use smaller plates? Though very delicious, my tuna appetizer surely looked tiny. The roasted duck I had was rarer than I'm used to, so I can't really say I liked it...but it came with a good side of grits. The desserts were small but extremely rich, so I was satisfied overall. I can't say it's my favorite restaurant, but it's somewhere I'd go to treat myself. I think I need to give it one more try before I can totally make up my mind about this place. P.S. They got a really really nice patio.

New lunch menu is terrific. Dined with two other women and each meal was superb. Can't wait to go back. Special shout-out to the catfish served over cheese grits with sauteed veggies. Delicious.

I'm from the West Coast and I'm visiting Little Rock. For decor, menu, service and quality, this restaurant is up to big city standards. The staff knows their job and everything we ordered was delicious and properly prepared. If you're in Little Rock on business or pleasure, this should be on your top 5 list. It doesn't hurt that it's on Little Rock's most walkable street/strip.

It's pleasant eating outside and some of the dishes are excellent but take care ordering. Stay away from the one advertised as having portobellos and pasta--it resembled macaroni and cheese out of a box with a couple of slices of mushrooms on the top. There are no veggie dishes, and the food is too salty. However, the fish and chicken are nice and tender and they give you respectable portions. Good service, nice atmosphere.
